Vietnam Ultimate at the 2007 Bangkok Hat |
Vietnam was extremely well represented at Bangkok's 007 Casino Royale Hat Tournament with 13 players from HUC and SUC joining in the action. The Pink team won the finals (which included VN players Blair, Hieu & Tri) over the White team (which included VN players Anne, Jeigh & Lester). Tom was awarded the team MVP for the Black team while Tino finally managed to play in a hat tournament without getting any cramps. Congrats to all.

Vietnam Places 10th at Singapore Open 2006 |
Team Vietnam returned to the Singapore Open 2006 with its eyes set on climbing the ranks of Asia's elite ultimate clubs. Drawing from players of both SUC (Saigon Ultimate Club) and HUC (Hanoi Ultimate Club) as well as recruits from Hue and Mozambique, Team Vietnam played hard and posted a winning record of 4-3 to secure 10th place overall.

Vietnam Ultimate Debuts at Singapore Open 2005 |
 The Singapore Open, Asia's largest ultimate frisbee event, was held in Singapore from September 17-18, with 24 teams from across Asia-Pacific participating in the tournament. UFOS (Ultimate Frisbee of Saigon) and HUC (Hanoi Ultimate Club) joined forces to form a national team to represent Vietnam in the tournament, marking the first time that a Vietnamese team has ever participated in an international ultimate competition.
