[UFOS] Singapore Players (1 Sept)

Hi Singapore Participants,

September has started... only two weeks to go!
Some information:

24 teams will be participating.

The party theme has not been announced yet.. very frustrating since we want to know what kind of extravagant clothes we have to buy and wear! Hanoi has a reputation with Kelly winning the party at two tournaments in a row! Hope we'll have some new Kelly's standing up at this tournament!

Still no word on ranking... but I am pretty confident they will put us in pool B. Let us keep our fingers crossed. Playing in the C division would suck!

For the people arriving early... there are pick up games with beer on Thursday night (15 sept) at Brewerkz Field (Riverside Point) from 5.30 PM.

All players remember that you have to pay the playersfee of 80 Singapore dollar (approx. 50 US) at 
the registration party at 7 pm on Friday night (for the Vietnamese players from Hanoi this fee will be paid by the Hanoi Ultimate Club).

We need to think of gifts for the teams we play against. Something small, Vietnamese and cool! Any good ideas? .... (how about giving the MVP's (male and female) of the other team a "Bao Ve armband"... given in a nice ceremonic way!). We'll be playing approx. 9 teams in total. Think about it!

Captain: I would like to suggest that David Jensen will be our captain. He can praise and yell at us in both Vietnamese and English....

Solange send me a very nice play.. a variation on the traditional stack play. Would be great to include this one in our game!

We are still working on cool shirts.

Is someone going to bring a boom-boom box? Will be nice to play some cool Vietnamese songs, under the Vietnamese flag during our warming up!

Remember that we all have to pay 14 USD airport tax when leaving Vietnam (to be paid in USD or Dong).
